Our mission is to provide women in crisis and transition with a stable environment and the opportunity to explore options for the future. We will organize or paint a community room, or cook a meal for the clients. We knit hats to be distributed to homeless people and those living on the edge. They are donated & delivered to shelters and agencies serving this population. Start or complete a hand made knitted hat.

Philadelphia Community Farm is a community supported agriculture (CSA) that is deeply committed to outreach towards inner-city families by providing fresh produce and farm experiences for young people. It is also very active in conservation of natural land along the St. Croix River where they are located. We will be working in the farm greenhouse, preparing seed beds and planting in preparation for the coming growing season. We will have lunch with the farmers and tour the farm to learn about their sustainable farming practices.
